New! Now it is possible to learn Slovene via Skype / online at AMIKUM/IZS (Educational Center for Slovene language). At AMIKUM/IZS we have plenty of experience in teaching Slovene as a foreign language and that is why we have developed our own system of teaching Slovene, which is far more efficient than other courses and is appropriate for foreigners who want to learn Slovene from beginning or refresh and improve their knowledge of the language.
WHO CAN LEARN SLOVENE VIA SKYPE / ONLINE?
The online Slovenian language course via Skype is appropriate for beginners and those who want to improve their Slovene. In this way each learner has the possibility to speak with a native speaker, who also speaks English (professor).
The Slovene language course via Skype is especially appropriate for:
♣ descendants of Slovenian emigrants, who now live in Argentina, Australia, USA and other countries, but wish to come back to Slovenia someday;
♣ foreigners who want to come and live or study in Slovenia and get acquainted with the language first,
♣ foreigners who want to come and visit Slovenia someday (relatives, vacation etc.),
♣ foreigners who already live in Slovenia but are too far away to enrol in regular language courses or simply wish to study from home,

Slovene language at AMIKUM/IZS (Educational Center for Slovene language) is taught by experienced teachers, who have university and master’s degree in Slovenian language, and also degrees in foreign languages.
By teaching foreigners from different countries (Germany, Austria, Italy, China, Albania, Great Britain, Russia…) they have gained deeper insight into language teaching and learning.
They have aquired pedagogical experience both in Slovenia and abroad. They are good connoisseurs of contemporary learning methods and approaches that they successfully use when teaching Slovene. They teach individual and group courses of Slovene language in Maribor and now also via Skype.
They are also authors of forewords, literature and academic research papers and proofreaders.
SLOVENE LANGUAGE COURSE VIA SKYPE / ONLINE – DATES AND PRICES PER HOUR
Slovene language course via Skype or online is available every day of the year. The exact schedule and time of your lessons via Skype / online is determined in accordance with your wishes and the availability of the professor.
If for any reason you cannot have a lesson, you simply inform the professor (by e-mail or text message), that you will not be able to have the lesson at the specified hour and your lesson will be postponed or rescheduled to a more appropriate time for you.
It is possible to buy 5, 10 or 20 hours of Slovene language lessons. Learning material is included so you won’t need to buy any books.
One lesson of Slovenian language via Skype / online lasts 1 hour (60 minutes).
Price: 30 EUR/hour
